THRELKELD CC

MONDAY, 8th FEBRUARY

7.30 PM START

2010 SEASON

This website is currently being updated for the 2010 season.

The AGM has been delayed until February 8th (Threlkeld, 7.30pm) to allow those clubs affected by the recent flooding time to assess their position with regards to junior teams.

Clubs have provided me with an indication of numbers of teams at each age group. This has enabled me to produce some suggested league structures and, based on these, provisional fixtures. These, or alternative proposals, will be voted upon at the AGM

2010 COUNTY CUP

The draw for the 2010 County Cup will be made at the AGM on February 8th. Entries (for both the U13 and U15 cups) need to be submitted to Ian Heath together with £6 entry (per team) before 28th February. Entry form here

COACHING COURSES

FREE LEVEL 1 COACHING

If clubs have got any 16-25 years olds (who must be BRAND NEW to volunteering) living in Allerdale, Barrow, Carlisle, Copeland and parts of Eden (not South Lakes), or associated with a club in one of those locations, who want to go on the UKCC1 or a Young Sports Leader course then they can now apply for funding for the full cost of their course through The Cumbria Youth Alliance.

The course must be completed before 15th April 2010, and the person MUST then do some volunteering after attending it. Also, the person concerned will need to have an identified senior person from their club to act as their mentor. The mentor & the candidate then have to fill in a simple questionnaire after the volunteering has been done.

Please contact Julie Gibson (016973 22131) for details
